“The experience I had with Debra from The Pro Book Editor for the editing of my first book was beyond phenomenal. She shows a level of professionalism, yet she is also compassionate and understanding when the need arises. She shows extreme care for the projects she is working on as well as timely emails with detailed information to provide the writer what they need to know. She is also excellent at answering any questions one may have about anything involved in the process. She shows a level of competency with her work and knowledge of the industry which I feel is superb and unmatched.

For the work itself, while she is providing suggestions about what she thinks will work best for each notation she makes, they are both well detailed without being too much, and excellent at catching any inconsistencies or issues that have arisen within the writing. Her notes are well thought out and excellent at providing a good look at what the reader will see so the writer is aware of how the writing will be perceived. While she does understand her notes are suggestions and it is up to the writer to choose to accept them or keep them as is, I feel that it is always a good idea to really consider any kind of criticism as it is one of the best ways to become better as a writer. Her suggestions are excellent. She understands that the process of looking over her notes can take time and is not on a schedule that needs to be fulfilled, which is a breath of fresh air in what can otherwise sometimes be a very harsh industry. I plan to use her for future works and would recommend her for any writer of any level, though I do believe any indie authors would do well to use her expertise.”
